The fireworks were beautiful and we are having a blast in the rain, but it is getting late and cold so they are announcing the winners of canned food drive a little early. Sigma Nu comes in at 3rd, Gamma Phi Beta comes in at 2nd, and Delta Gamma comes in at 1st place! Congratulations to all the winners and shout to everyone that donated, there were well over 1,000 cans donated! (10:30pm)
Despite the rain the bonfire and canned food drive are still happening right beside Stubblefield, so come out and bring your canned foods with you! They are currently counting each organizations contributions so get here soon so yours can be counted too! There is hot cocoa and fireworks are about to go off, so do not miss out! (10:05pm)
Bonfire and Canned Food Drive
The results are in and the crowd is anxiously awaiting the announcement. Kappa Alpha Order comes in at 3rd, Gamma Phi Beta comes in at 2nd, and Delta Gamma comes in at 1st place! Congratulations to all the people who competed and to all the people who placed! (9:44pm)
AOII went first and CAB followed. The both absolutely killed it! Delta Gamma and Gamma Phi Beta were the next to perform followed by Kappa Alpha Order and Sigma Nu. All of them did amazing! The crowd went wild for everyone; I’m really not sure how the judges are going to pick a winner. (9:36pm)
Now that the game is over, Yell Like Hell is about to start! We have six teams competing tonight and they are getting ready to go. The music is being set up and all the teams are warming up; this is going to be a good show! If you aren’t here, you should be so make your way over to Stubblefield now! (9:00pm)
Yell Like HellLady Lions win!! Lady Lions win!! The fourth set ended with our Lady Lions getting the W with a score of 25-19! The crowd is in an uproar and the stadium is booming!
What a great start to ourhomecoming weekend! After a game like this it should be great motivation to do it again in their homecoming game this Saturday! (8:42pm)
Set four has started. This set will decide if our Lady Lions win or if we have to go into a tie-breaker round. The crowd is on its feet and cheering like crazy; we want the win! The Lady Lions are playing a lot like the last set; showing they are determined to win this whole game! (8:05pm)Set two went to Lubbock Christian at 24-26, but it is not over yet! The third set is in full swing and the Lady Lions are determined to get the win. They are maintaining the lead over Lubbock Christian and refuse to let it go! We are coming to end here on set three and the Lady Lions have it, 25-13! (8:00pm)
The first set is over and the Lady Lions won it 25-22! We are half-way into the second set and Lubbock Christian is not lying down; they are coming back with a vengeance and giving our Lady Lions a run for their money this match. This is a heated match! It is just going back and forth for who has the lead and neither team wants to lose! (7:27pm)It is game time here in the Stubblefield center! Our Lady Lions are keeping Lubbock Christian on their toes and maintain the lead so far in the first set of the match. The crowd is lively and cheering them on! If our girls keep playing like this we should have this in the bag! (7:09pm)
Tonight the Lady Lions are taking on Lubbock Christian at 7pm. You still have fifteen minutes to get here and support your Lady Lions. Tickets can be purchased at the Stubblefield center and are free to students with your student ID, so do not forget to bring it with you! The Lions Bookstore has a booth set up with all kinds of UAFS merchandise and homecoming t-shirts so if you are looking to show your school spirit stop by there and find

UAFS Lady Lions vs. Lubbock Christian
Homecoming has been going strong for three days now. Monday and Tuesday were full of campaigning and voting for our 2015 homecoming king and queen, and Wednesday was our All Sports Pep Rally and board painting competition. Tonight, Thursday October 22, 2015 is going to be a very busy night with the Lady Lions taking on Lubbock Christian at 7pm, Yell Like Hell at 8pm, and the Bonfire and Canned Food Drive at 9pm.
